Mid America Pension Project

The Mid America Pension Project has attorneys working to protect and promote the retirement security of workers, retirees and their families in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana and Pennsylvania.

The Mid America Pension Project is funded in large part by the Administration on Community Living under the Older Americans Act Title II.

We help workers, retirees and their families

The Mid America Pension Project can assist with retirement plans offered by private and government employers, including:

  • Pension plans
  • 401(k), 403(b), and 457 “defined contribution” plans
  • Profit-sharing plans
  • Cash balance and other hybrid pension plans

We often help workers, retirees and their families in these areas:

  • Filing claims and appeals to obtain retirement benefits
