Regular exercise helps people move more easily, sleep better and be independent. People are more likely to keep up with physical activity if they’re surrounded by others doing the same.

Prevent Falls

Falls are the number one cause of injury for older adults. Participants learn to set realistic goals for increasing activity and how to change their environments to reduce the risk of falling and build strength.

“I am so thankful you put me onto yourjuniper. I was able to take Tai Ji Quan level 1 and level 2 twice. I also took SAIL classes. It has been a Godsend through COVID. The instructors were great and I enjoyed meeting people from all over the state.”

“Tai Ji Quan provides a time twice a week to quiet my mind and relax in a supportive group setting. That’s been helpful in the midst of an ongoing family health crisis.”

Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance participant

“I have MS so I have major balance issues. I also have weakness in my legs so getting up and down from a chair is an effort. It’s already getting easier than it was.  I can stand up 9-10 times within 30 seconds now.  So, that’s not too bad!”
