OLDER AMERICANS ACT SERVICES
Healthy Aging Classes
Activities that are intended to prevent and mitigate the effects of chronic diseases such as: osteoporosis, hypertension, obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. Additionally, programs can also address reducing one’s alcohol and substance use, quitting smoking, weight loss and/or control of weight, managing stress, preventing falls, physical activity, and improving one’s nutrition to promote healthy living in older adults.
