OLDER AMERICANS ACT SERVICES
Culturally Specific Support Services
Connecting culturally and linguistically diverse older adults to community and government services that aren’t easily accessible due to systemic barriers. An individual may receive support making referrals, translating or filling out forms, interpreting phone calls, taking an individual to a community or government appointment, making a visit to their home, coordinating services with other organizations, etc.
Group events offer group support to older adults through education, social and cultural activities, support groups, health fairs, and wellness forums.
