On September 21, 2023, The Remember Project was recognized by the National Organization for Arts in Health (NOAH) at their annual conference. The Remember Project received an honorable mention in the Cam Busch NOAH Arts in Health Awards in the “Arts for Innovation” category.

The Cam Busch NOAH Arts in Health Awards recognize individuals or organizations offering visual or performing arts programs supporting health care, educational, and community needs. The Remember Project is a program of Trellis that creates space for people to learn about and process the impact of dementia. Through short plays and facilitated conversations, The Remember Project has touched the lives of thousands of audience members.

“This model reaches back and re-embraces something that we know to be true: That the arts provide an invitation to building community and conversation,” says The Remember Project founder Danette McCarthy.
