Trellis is pleased to announce that John Doan has joined our staff as Vice President of Operations and Equity.
In this role, John will have oversight of the Senior LinkAge Line® programs at Trellis, Data Management Program, Older Americans Act program, ElderCare Development Partnership and Retirement and Pension Rights. John will lead our work in quality and process improvement and help us develop an equity framework for our programs and services. As a member of the Trellis executive team, he will participate in developing and implementing strategy.
John brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the nonprofit, for-profit and governmental sectors, including with services for older adults and people with disabilities.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University and attained his Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government specializing in transportation, housing and urban development. John has worked for the State of Minnesota in senior roles at the Department of Transportation and Department of Finance and has worked in several consulting practices developing and leading multi-million dollar federally awarded contracts in transportation. More recently John worked as Assistant Director of Transportation Planning for Hennepin County, as a Project Manager at ITNAmerica, and also founded Mobility 4 All where he served as CEO. John recently served as a board member for the Minnesota Board of Aging.
John and his wife reside in Shoreview.
