Presentation: The effects of trauma and toxic stress can negatively impact an individual’s well-being and ability to navigate daily life. This presentation will provide insight into the impacts of trauma and toxic stress on a developing child and adolescent. As well as insight on skills and steps for seeking professional support in addressing and healing from experiences of trauma.

Presenter: Raevhann Rush, LGSW (she/her) is a mental health provider and statewide race matters coordinator for LSS Behavioral Health Services. Raevhann provides therapy and mental health support to individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and communities. Raevhann centers her work on addressing gaps between mental health access the experiences of being a BIPOC individual while serving each person in a way that honors their cultural backgrounds and values.
